Telehealth Room
The Storm Lake Public Library Telehealth Room is a way to receive healthcare services digitally. Telehealth lets you videoconference with doctors, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, physchologists and other health professionals through computers. The library provides a stable internet and devices with both video and audio. Your visit is safe within a noise-cancelling, soundproof room. The windows are covered with thick film or blinds.
There is no charge for the use of the room. Patients must call the library and ask for the Telehealth Digital Navigator to make an appointment. Please come 15 minutes before to sign a consent form and read the policy.
The library is not a medical facility and is offering a telehealth room for the community's use.
